Shopping
mall
shattered

Inspired by the devastating 2004 Madrid bombings, which claimed 193 lives and injured thousands, this story asks a haunting question: does tragedy feel more real when it hits closer to home?

What if it happened where you shop, where you spend an ordinary afternoon?

When a bomb detonates inside a Reykjavik shopping mall, chaos erupts.

Amid the destruction, five strangers narrowly escape death only to find themselves trapped together in a shattered elevator shaft. Cut off from the outside world, injured and terrified, they must confront not only their physical survival, but each other.

As time runs out and hope fades, the group is forced to reckon with fear, trust, and the fragile line between life and death.
