Ormstunga is a brand new and fresh Icelandic musical that was premiered this February in the National Theater of Iceland. Based on Gunnlaug's tale, Ormstunga ( Serpent´s Tongue ), a classic tale that is exciting, funny and heartwarming at the same time. The authors are from the youngest generation of theatre artists and brilliantly manage to work from our cultural heritage in a modern and charming form. The work is written in the spirit of the world-famous musical Hamilton, which paved the way for a powerful fusion of historical events and crunchy music.
